Maricopa County

For most of the past decade, Maricopa County has retained its title as the fastest-growing county by numeric growth in the nation, with about 300 people moving to the area every day.

The county is home to the state’s capital city, Phoenix, and some of the country’s fastest-growing suburbs. Yet even the biggest cities are just steps from nature and a regional park system that covers 120,000 acres.  This is a unique place to live, play and do business.  Here, taxes tend to be lower and Maricopa County has a diverse economy to support its diverse population, with strong tech, health, education, aerospace and business sectors. County government supports this growth by providing regional leadership and necessary public services at a reasonable cost so that residents can enjoy living in a healthy and safe environment.
